Through the passage of time men have learned to domesticate different species of plants and animals. By domesticating them, access to animals and plants that previously were found only in the wild, was made easier. In the process of developing followers, good leaders also ensure that they have acquired the skills and knowledge of becoming good leaders too (Major, 1997). They ensure that they have developed abilities and skills of their group which in return forces them to enhance or develop their own good leadership abilities and skills. In connection to that, they ensure that they have left a lasting impression or mark on their groups and their business organization as a whole (Klann, 2007). In short other that ensuring that he has managed to grow all individuals from the inside out, he or she leaves their organization in a better position unlike before. Regardless of the huge difference which exists between effective and good leadership, ethics plays a big role in harmonizing the two. Typically, ethical leadership makes a lead others on ethical grounds as well as being responsible for good and bad results.   With ethics, it means that both effective and good leaders can have tremendous impacts on the way people behave as well as what they ought to achieve (Mendonca Kanungo, 2006). Accoridng to the FBI 17 seconds from now someone between the ages of 13-25 will be a victim of a violent crime somewhere in our country. Domestic, dating and sexual violence are costly and prevalent problems in this country, causing victims, as well as witnesses and bystanders, in every community to suffer pain and loss. In addition to the lives taken and injuries suffered, violence shatters the sense of well-being that allows people to thrive. It also can cause health problems that last a lifetime, and destroy children’s outlook on school and in life. The United States has made progress in the last few decades in addressing teen/ young adult violence – but there is more work to do to build the strategies that hold the most promise. The U.S Today Article on January 6, 2011 tells a story of the study done by Chr istine Hine who showed a connection between childhood trauma and the onset of serious physical disorders later on in life like diabetes, stroke, ulcers, and hyper tension. All of these serious maladies come into an effect as a result of early childhood trauma. Another study of students, conducted by Debra Shavone, portrayed a picture of how some young students between the ages of 10-24, had grew up in inner city life and had been exposed to violence. She showed their struggle emotionally and psychologically with what they were up against and as a result of that they drop out of school and then got jobs but, then there would be no jobs available. And as a result of needing to pay the bills or take care of their necessities they are forced into a violent way of life in order to survive.
